Bentley 102

Bentley 102 Piano

The Bentley Piano Company began production in the 1930s, though its roots date back much earlier. Founded by Douglas Grover, a third-generation piano maker, the company moved to Woodchester Mills in 1911, where it grew rapidly, producing over 3,000 pianos annually by the 1930s. Bentley became self-sufficient, crafting its own components in-house.

During WWII, the factory was repurposed for aircraft production. After the war, Bentley became known for high-quality, affordable upright pianos, including the popular Bentley 102. The model is recommended for beginners seeking an acoustic piano with a responsive touch.

The Bentley 102 offered here is a rare satin oak example, originally purchased in 1980 and well-maintained. Reconditioned Bentley pianos from Restore And More remain popular due to their sound quality and compact size. Unlike modern Bentleys now made in China, all our Bentley pianos are British-made and carefully reconditioned to honor their original craftsmanship.
